We seek a **Per Diem Pharmacy Technician** to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

**Schedule:** This is a per diem role, will be working on an 'as needed only' basis to provide vacation and PTO coverage at home site / Colorado Springs area and sister sites in Denver, Boulder and Greeley when needed. There are no guaranteed hours for this role.

**Pharmacy Hours:** Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

**Location:** 1795 Jet Wing Dr Room 2230 Colorado Springs, CO 80916 (home site)

**Primary Responsibilities:**

+ Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff

+ Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist

+ Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies

+ Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders

+ Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records

+ Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements

+ Performs various clerical duties relating to the department

+ Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills

+ Other duties as assigned

+ Will be required to provide PTO and vacation coverage when needed at home site and at sister sites in Boulder, Denver, and Greeley (will mainly be covering sites in the Colorado Springs area but must have ability to go to other listed areas when needed)

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Colorado

+ National Pharmacy Technician certification

+ 6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience

+ Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license

The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
