Pride Health is hiring for a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Tallahassee, FL. This is a 3-month assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• Has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skilful, safe and accurate manner.
• Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.
• Performs specimen processing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
• Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.

Must have qualifications/experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred

Job Title: Phlebotomist
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Schedule: Mon to Fri 7 am to 4 pm, every other Sat 8 am to 12 pm

Pay Range: $17.75 to $19.75/hr (*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)
