Hiring: Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist | Travel Role 🚨
Looking for a skilled IR Tech with Neuro IR (NIR) and Vascular experience to join a high-acuity clinical team!
💼 Position Details:
- 📍 Location: Chapel Hill, NC
- 🕒 Shift: Days
- ⏳ Contract: 13 Weeks
- ⏱️ Hours: 40 hours/week
Weekly Gross: $3000
Breakdown:
W2: $36.5/hr
Perdiem: $1540/Wk
🏥 About the Role:
This is a hands-on, procedure-focused role supporting complex interventional cases across vascular and neuro specialties using advanced imaging technologies.
🔬 Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in IR, Neuro IR, and vascular procedures
- Operate advanced equipment:
- Fluoroscopy (single & bi-plane)
- Ultrasound & CT imaging
- IVUS, AngioJet, Penumbra, EKOS
- Support endovascular repairs & thrombectomy procedures
- Perform image processing, QA, and documentation
- Assist physicians as a first assist during procedures
🧑 ⚕️ Patient Care:
- Prepare and position patients using sterile technique
- Assist with hemodynamic monitoring
- Ensure radiation safety protocols
- Monitor patient condition during procedures
✅ Requirements:
- ARRT Certification (Required)
- BLS or ACLS Certification
- Completion of Radiologic Sciences Program
- Strong experience in IR, NIR, and Vascular procedures
- Siemens experience (Preferred)
