DESCRIPTION
- Specialist will manage real estate (pre-construction) efforts in support of 4G/5G macro new build and/or modification programs and service improvements in the Great Plains Submarket (MN, IA, NE, SD, ND). This involves vendor oversight of site acquisition and A&E partners to successfully navigate various milestones to get to a "Real Estate Complete" work product.
- Work involves supervising third party vendors in performing due diligence, negotiating leases or amendments, managing work flow forecasts, and obtaining governmental approvals and permits.
- Specialist is expected to work as a self-starter to drive their projects and effectively prioritize multiple competing projects.
- Must be able to collaborate with other internal teams to achieve successful outcomes.
- Role will include PO management.
- Assist with special projects as they arise.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must have significant telecom/wireless experience with strong project management experience and able to operate with minimal onboarding and oversight
- Prior experience managing site acquisition agents and other vendors is needed.
- Ideal candidate will have previous carrier experience
- Ideal candidate will have experience or familiarity working macro new build and mod projects, and with large tower companies such as ATC, SBA, or Crown Castle.
- Experience accurately forecasting deliverables, maintaining database information fields, and understanding the impact of the job to the overall program.
- Ability to work under pressure to manage and meet aggressive timelines and goals.
- Excellent communication skills with a positive team-focused energy and drive.
- Creative problem solver that is able to assemble and evaluate information to determine paths to success.
- Experience with database tracking systems/tools - experience with processes and tools (FUZE) preferred.
