Description We are looking for a dedicated Receptionist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will be the first point of contact, ensuring visitors and employees are welcomed warmly while maintaining smooth day-to-day operations. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to showcase your organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and assist visitors, providing clear directions and maintaining a detail oriented demeanor.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services efficiently.
- Monitor lobby security by maintaining visitor logs and issuing badges as needed.
- Keep employee and department directories updated for easy access.
- Oversee the maintenance and inventory of the lobby, mailroom, and kitchenette areas.
- Handle various clerical tasks and special projects as assigned.
- Answer inbound calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate departments.
- Coordinate travel arrangements as required to support team operations.
- Ensure the reception area remains organized and presentable at all times. Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and dependability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively in person and via correspondence.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing workload efficiently.
- Ability to address customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Comfortable speaking articulately in both one-on-one situations and small group settings.
