We are looking for a General Manager with strong fine-dining or specialty-coffee leadership experience to oversee operations, build a high-performing team, and ensure every guest receives the polished, warm service Maeva is known for.
Role Overview
The General Manager leads daily operations, drives service standards, and manages financial performance. This is a hands-on, floor-focused role ideal for someone who thrives in a high-expectation, hospitality-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture
Recruit, train, and coach a skilled team with fine-dining and/or specialty coffee standards.
Set expectations, lead pre-shifts, and maintain a professional, positive culture.
Model warm, polished hospitality in every guest interaction.
Operations Management
Oversee scheduling, inventory, ordering, and cash handling.
Ensure smooth service flow and consistent execution across all stations.
Maintain SOPs for cleanliness, safety, food handling, and brand standards.
Guest Experience
Deliver refined service across greeting, pacing, presentation, and recovery.
Ensure coffee standards match high-end café expectations (dial-in, workflow, quality).
Respond quickly and professionally to guest concerns.
Financial Performance
Manage labor, COGS, waste, and controllable expenses.
Track performance metrics and develop weekly/monthly action plans.
Support ownership with reporting and forecasting.
Brand & Community Engagement
Collaborate on menu updates, merchandise, and service innovation.
Represent Maeva through local events, partnerships, and community presence.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of hospitality management (fine dining or specialty coffee preferred).
Strong leadership and team-development skills.
Solid financial and operational understanding (labor, COGS, inventory).
Deep hospitality instincts and high-level service skills.
Hands-on operator who thrives during service.
Weekend/holiday availability required.
(Preferred) AZ Food Handler & Title 4 certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
