As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, you will play a crucial role in providing coordinated nursing care to patients. You will supervise and direct nursing staff activities, collaborate with other healthcare disciplines, and utilize your critical thinking skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment
• Collect and analyze data to determine diagnosis and care issues
• Develop and implement care plans to promote health and safety
• Evaluate patient progress and collaborate with healthcare teams
• Provide learning opportunities and health information to patients and families
• Participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
• Delegate duties appropriately among healthcare team members
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience in an acute care facility preferred
