Responsibilities

• Serve as the clinical lead for all medication-related operations within the residential program
• Oversee and administer MAT protocols (e.g., buprenorphine, naltrexone, extended-release injectables, as clinically indicated)
• Support medication planning and monitoring for clients throughout a medium-term residential stay (30 days to 5 months)
• Ensure safe medication administration, storage, documentation, and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Coordinate closely with prescribing providers regarding medication initiation, adjustments, monitoring, and client response
• Provide guidance, oversight, and support to LVNs and other nursing staff
• Conduct medication education with clients to support adherence and long-term sobriety
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and clinical team meetings
• Monitor for side effects, withdrawal symptoms, and medication efficacy over the course of treatment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Support audits, inspections, and quality assurance initiatives related to medication management

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure
• Three years experience with SUD treatment
• Three years experience with low-income, underserved populations
• One year of experience in a supervisory role
• CPR, ACLS, and BCLS Certification
• Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance
• Candidate must be able to lift and position patients on endoscopy stretcher and transport patients
