Job Purpose

JVM Solutions is hiring a full-time and PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to support a Health Unit in Moffett Field, California. This role ensures to serve and protect patients by maintaining a safe and secure work and patient care environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

This role involves providing healthcare services in compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and professional standards of care. Key responsibilities include:

• requirements and standards as a licensed Registered Nurse.
• Provides primary, urgent care, and occupational health services to the employees.
• Manages and complies with all regulation to safely submit hazardous waste according to protocol.
• Facilitates in participation in the Health Promotion Committee.
• Assists with AED maintenance and inspection.
• Assists with the Stop the Bleed Program, with potential to instruct said program.
• Perform all medical duties authorized by the contractor medical authority, such as taking vital signs, recording patient histories, drawing blood, or preparing injured patients for treatment.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Supporting operational readiness through equipment inspections, supply management, and workstation maintenance.
• Assisting with business operations, including patient correspondence, and inventory management.
• Documenting patient care using the Electronic Health Record System (EHRS).
• Administering medications and vaccinations (excluding intravenous medications) and performing basic procedures like ear lavage and wound care.
• Supporting health and wellness programs, such as flu vaccine campaigns and health fairs.
• Maintaining professional knowledge through ongoing training and development.
• Assisting with special events, emergency response, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• AS or BS in nursing from an accredited college or university
• California State Registered Nurse Licensure
• Minimum 3 years of full-time experience (Occupational Health, Emergency Care, or related field preferred but not required)
• First Aide, BLS/AED, & ACLS
