As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a reassuring presence. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain adherence to facility protocols.
+ Collaborate with healthcare staff to address security-related concerns and provide assistance when appropriate.
+ Complete detailed and accurate reports of observations, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
+ Remain alert to changes in the environment and report any security-related hazards or unusual activities to the appropriate personnel.
+ Assist in directing emergency personnel and responding to alarms and other urgent situations in accordance with established procedures.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
+ An armed guard card or license is required.
+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
+ A minimum of six months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
