**Job Summary and Qualifications**
**Role Summary** : Performs and participates by disassembling, cleaning, assembling, sterilizing, testing, and storing procedure trays, instruments, equipment, and supplies according to prescribed procedures and aseptic techniques. Also, by completing requests to dispense equipment and supplies, assisting and processing patient charge records, and maintaining department inventory. Uses chemicals and appropriate PPE as established protocols and procedures.
**What qualifications you will need:**
Required Education: High School graduate or GED
Preferred Education: Sterile Processing Training or Surgical Technician Training
Preferred Experience: 1-2 years as SPD Technician or equivalent
Working Conditions: Lift/push/pull, sitting/standing for prolonged periods, frequently walking, and repetitive reaching.
