Surgical Technician

As a member of the surgical team, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse Circulator, maintains the operating room sterile field; passes instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery. Insures that proper aseptic technique is utilized to prevent contamination and infection. Assists the registered nurse with circulating duties.

• This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled
• This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below:
• Texas: Lubbock
• Flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on departmental needs and operational requirements (option)
• Work Status Available:
• Full Time, Day
• Shifts Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30-15:00

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or Armed Services Surgical Technology program.
• Upon hire: National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Or
• Upon hire: National Tech in Surgery - Certified - National Center for Competency Testing
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
