Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Special Procedures Technologist, you will assist physicians with evaluating patients. You will record patients' vital signs, medication incompatibilities and allergies and also keep an eye on patients to alert doctors about any special needs or potential risks regarding treatment or radiation doses. What You Will Do In This Role:

* You will administer medication and therapies under a physician's direction.

* You must also label radiographs, develop film and collate X-rays.

* You will be responsible for participating in the hospital's quality-assurance program and identifying lab problems that could affect test results.

* You will work as a team player and meet the needs of the Special procedures team.

* You will identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensure proper identification on all images.

* You will assess patient condition, ensures patient safety through proper use of restraints / support devices.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

* Graduate from an accredited school of Radiological Technology with an Associate’s degree or equivalent is required.

* Must be A.R.R.T. (R.T.) or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must pass registry within one year of start date for continued employment.

* One year clinical experience is preferred.
