RESPONSIBILITIES
**I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:**
- Performs a variety of radiologic procedures.
- Provides patient care during procedures.
**II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**
- Standing, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking.
- Continuous: stooping/bending; reaching above and below shoulder level, frequent gripping of an object, pushing/pulling usual weight up to 50 pounds of force.
- Frequent: twisting body, lifting usual weight with assistance up to 50 pounds; carrying up to 40 pounds; reaching at shoulders, repetitive arm/hand motions, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods of time.
- Occasional: sitting, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting.
**II. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:**
- Exposed to both inside and outside environmental conditions; cold temperatures due to the air conditioning.
- Subjected to noise/vibration from film processors.
- Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, mechanical/electrical units, chemicals and radiation.
- Work Environment is fast paced and high stressed due to patient census.
**IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
**A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:**
- Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Current BLS certification.
**B. EXPERIENCE:**
- One (1) year experience in an acute care facility preferred.
