4x9.5-Hour shift from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM, 37.5 hours per week.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CVOR Surgical Technician with a minimum of 1.5 years of experience. This role involves floating to Main OR when CVOR volume is low. The technician is required to have comprehensive experience in heart and lung transplant procedures, with kidney experience being highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in various surgical procedures, including valve replacement, coronary artery bypass, TAVR, dissection, and VATs.
- Utilize knowledge in Hybrid Room, Endovascular, and vascular procedures.
- Cross-train and assist in General, Laparoscopic, GYN, Robotic, Ortho/Neuro, and Pediatric surgeries as necessary.
- Participate in on-call coverage, including weekend on-call shifts.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission.
- BLS Certification required.
- Experience with Hybrid Room and Endovascular procedures is essential.
- Strong scrub experience and proficiency in organ transplant surgeries are required.
