Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Every other weekend and holiday.

Rex Hospital—Rex 3 West—3 West is a 31 bed, general medicine unit. We care for a variety of medical patients with diagnoses that include COPD, diabetes, pneumonia, renal failure, minor neurological disorders, and behavioral health, as well as many others. We have a strong team that takes pride in providing the best of care that UNC REX can offer.

Staffing ratio is 1 to 5-6.

Required Education: -Nursing Diploma. OR -ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing.

Preferred Education: -BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing.

7 days maximum time off
