Job Position: MRI Tech

Location: Philadelphia, PA 19104

Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Terms: 13 to 26 Weeks

Description:

Birch Agency is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team.

The MRI Technologist operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients internal structures. They ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while working closely with radiologists and healthcare teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to capture detailed diagnostic images

• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures

• Screen patients for contraindications (e.g., metal implants, pacemakers, claustrophobia)

• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns

• Administer contrast agents as prescribed

• Monitor patients during imaging for safety and comfort

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and MRI safety protocols

• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation

• Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions

• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostics

Required Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED (required)

• ARRT in MRI REQUIRED

• MRI Certification (required)

• CT Certification (preferred)
