Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician
Location: 8211 Scicor Dr Indianapolis, IN 46214
Duration: 12 months (CONTRACT TO HIRE)
Shift: 2nd Shift. Tues – Saturday 3pm – 11:30pm
Eligibility:
U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, or individuals with an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) are eligible to apply for this position
Required Skills:
- 1. Processing samples at least
- 2. New grad that has a bachelor’s degree
- 3. Attention to detail
- 4. Okay with repetitive work
Preferred Skills:
1. MT or MLT grad
2. Pipetting
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Repetitive work. High attention to detail. Receive samples and based on how they need to be processed. They will be high complexity processing samples. The clients will sometimes send in one tube, but that tube will need multiple processes on it. Preparing Ice baths. Needs familiarity with pipetting experience.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in a physical, chemical, biological science or Medical Technology.
- Education Preferred: Can have an AA if they are an MLT.
